Who is Bader?

Born and raised in Kuwait, Bader is a filmmaker, graduated in 2018 from New York Film Academy, Los Angeles CA, with a degree in Filmmaking. He has a couple of short films that have gained recognition in the festival circuit and won a few awards as a director/producer. He worked as a producer, director, and writer in Los Angeles 2017-2019 on several personal projects and for hire. He had previous film work prior to his studies as well as post studies locally in Kuwait.

Bader had developed a passion for volunteer work since his High School years, and has later on participated in several volunteer projects before joining AIESEC global organization in 2014 to later on take a leading role as the Member Committee Vice President of Incoming Student Exchange in Kuwait. He was able to start the first student exchange volunteer program in Kuwait in collaboration with Al Kharafi Activity Kids Center - hosting around 10 volunteers from 5 countries.

Ever since the age of 11; with his constant travels and volunteer work, he was exposed to the different cultures and communities that taught him the true meaning of living diversity, which later on pushed his interests towards the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Why Travel?

Bader has set his mind to travel and document his experiences and the cultural interactions he encounters around the world in a stylistic filmmaking aspect to showcase that humans are born pure of heart and all believe in peace no matter what is our cultural difference is. Thus combing all three of his passions together - film, travel, and volunteer - to deliver awareness globally.

There are 193 sovereign countries in the world recognized by the United Nations, as well as 2 non-sovereign countries and 2 observatory countries as per the United Nations. Bader hopes to dedicate his upcoming phase in life to visit all 197 countries plus other territories and nations - to explore and more.

When it comes to traveling, Bader has a big interest in adventure and extreme sport activities, but that doesn't mean he's not fond of learning and experiencing different cultures or reaching out to communities and organizations that need or provide help to the vulnerable.

How?

Bader has quit his job back in 2016 after 3 and half years of working and saving up money. Now after investing in his skills and learning filmmaking techniques, he is ready to start his youtube channel and document (vlog) his travels and share his views of life to the world. Not to mention blogging on his website and using the social media platforms to deliver and impact as much as he can to shed light about the SDGs and how travel can be simple and fun too!
